Which document matters most for an Oromocto engineer's TN request?
The employer's letter describing the actual duties, the profession being relied on, the duration and the pay, read together with the degree that the listed profession requires. A job title on its own decides nothing.
Does a bookkeeping practice in Oromocto give the spouse any U.S. work right?
No. A TD dependant may study but may not work, and serving Canadian clients from inside the United States is still work. The spouse's own qualifications and a separate route would have to be assessed.
Can proceeds from selling a business be used for E-2 or EB-5 without more paperwork?
The sale contract, the closing statement and the tax filings that report the sale become part of the file. Each route also has its own tests on commitment, risk, job creation or management that the money alone does not satisfy.
Do we have to meet anyone in person to start?
No. All consultations for this edition are remote. The work begins with the documents the household already holds and a list of what still has to be obtained.
